Beautiful built and finished, but link pin bolts shear easily
Bottom line, I'm very happy with this band. In terms of quality of build and finish it absolutely looks like it could have come with the watch from Apple.
Picking nits, the titanium of the band where it attaches to the watch is not a perfect color match, with a distinct blue cast vs the neutral gray of the watch body. The lighting does have to be just right (or wrong?) to pick this up, though, and for the most part it looks like an exact match.
More frustrating, and the real reason for my rating of 4 stars rather than 5, the link retaining pin bolts are very fragile. In the process of removing 4 pins to size down the bracelet, 2 of the retaining bolts sheared off inside the pin making them unusable. I appreciate the inclusion of 2 extra pins in the box, but I've already used both and am now afraid to do any other adjustments. Perhaps the real takeaway from this is to consider taking the band and watch to a jeweler if you do need to resize it.
