At the beginning of 2023, BandWerk secured a series of special lots at various auctions: a total of four used Formula 1 tires of the P-Zero Yellow type, which were used in Grand Prix races from 2012 to 2016.
Thanks to a specialized and meticulous processing method, BandWerk has successfully transformed and revitalized the surface rubber of these racing tires.

The result is a strictly limited edition of 299 handcrafted watch bands that impress not only with their quality but also with their unique provenance. Each band carries the DNA of Formula 1, making it a must-have for both watch enthusiasts and motorsport aficionados alike.

The Tread
Option 1: A watch band made from the tread of a Formula 1 tire. This unique material has not only touched the asphalt of some of one of the world's most famous racetracks but has also experienced the intense heat of racing firsthand.
The special, slightly melted texture of the band is a testament to the intense laps on the track, giving it a distinctive character. Choose this band to feel the fascination and dynamism of racing right on your wrist.
The Sidewall
Alternatively, we offer a watch band made from the tire's sidewall. Here, the rubber is smooth and features – depending on the cut – a unique print pattern that always includes a small part of the brand logo and the characteristic design of the tire's side. Each watch band in this series is unique, ensuring that no two are alike.
